Dr. Rieger has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles spanning business development, operations, drug discovery and product development in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining Verrica, Dr. Rieger served as Executive Vice President of PBM Capital Group, LLC. Dr. Rieger also served as Corporate Senior Vice President and President of the Human Therapeutics Division at Intrexon Corporation, Vice President of Research and Virginia Operations for Clinical Data, Inc. and Vice President of Lead Development at Adenosine Therapeutics, LLC. Dr. Rieger earned a BA in Chemistry from Rollins College, a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
